We are so excited to share what God is doing at LHBC! We are Taking Care of business, Taking on, Taking back, and Taking over for the Kingdom. We have begun construction with donations from our church members and local community. This building will be amazing and will expand our footprint for ministry. It sits in the heart of Waterbury where the greatest needs of our community are, making it easy for them to hear about Jesus. As I describe this wonderful place to you, it will be easy for you to see how we are a great blessing.
The building stands at 16,000 square feet and is located at 270 Long Hill Rd in Waterbury, CT. It’s right in the harvest field of our city where there is poverty, prostitution and where many have lost hope. Right from our church, we can minister to the families in the neighborhoods all around us with the message of God’s love and salvation. We can hold our Help Drive outreaches in our parking lot where we provide clothing and feed the hungry. The opportunities to share the love of God are limitless.
Inside of the building there is a space large enough for a sanctuary that would more than double our current sanctuary space. It will also provide rooms for a large Nursery, spacious classrooms for Toddlers and our Youth ministry. It houses a church Fellowship Hall and several more rooms that can be used for more classrooms, offices, storage and endless other options.
Our founding Pastor wanted to build this church to win souls for God’s kingdom- which is just what we intend to do!
We are off to an explosive start and we need $100,000 for the final phase of construction. We are asking you if you would seek God about getting involved financially with this project. A gift of any amount is important and appreciated. Through His wonderful grace- we are expanding, growing and obtaining all that we need to fulfill the things that are in our hearts.
